“Synchronicity is an ever present reality for those who have eyes to see.”

This may seem like a weird place to begin talking about a remolding project, but it is our life and you should know about that right up front.
We’re in the flow.
Things are happening in ways we could never imagine, but fit perfectly on our path. I’ve discovered that over planning and being rigid seem to clog the flow.
What does it mean to be in the flow? For us it means setting an intention and allowing something greater than us fill in the details. Years ago, thanks to a good friend, we learned about Dr. Joe Dispenza and began studying his methods. His book Becoming Supernatural is excellent. The main idea is to set an intention, then connect with the heart felt reasons you desire it and see what happens. He says our “intention” sends the idea out into the energy field and our heart acts like a magnet and pulls it to us. Hence, the synchronicities.
It’s called mind - heart coherence.
It seems like a supernatural ability, when in reality it is a gift we all have!
Since buying the mobile home (last week) and starting to create a design plan, I have been going to Facebook Marketplace every morning looking for a few of the things we need. Since we are tearing down the wall in the kitchen that blocks the beautiful lake view, we need a slide-in island range that vents down. It has to be flat, no back. Well, this morning a listing popped up for a Jenn-Air slide in, down vented range. The ad said it works great, but just needed to be cleaned up. The cost $2. Yes, you read that right, $2.
I immediately messaged and said, “We want this, we are coming to get it right now. Please give me your address.” And, off we went. The seller responded right away with his location which was about 30 miles away. I texted him when we got closer. He texted back that if we preferred we could not pay the $2 and do 15 minutes of weed pulling in lieu of payment. We both just laughed.
The trip took us out in the country side through farms and wineries. It was breathtakingly beautiful.
I received a text with further directions. We took a small dirt road and he said follow it up to the top of the hill. It was a single lane road that wound around and up. It was the highest point in the area. At the top it dead ended into a beautiful home with an amazing view. I mean amazing!
The seller was in his yard waiting for us. He was friendly and welcoming. We talked, he showed us around his property and garden. It was such a pleasant interaction. He helped us load the range and told us his mom had just got a new gas range and wanted this electric one gone. He asked her how much she wanted for it and sarcastically she said, two bucks. So he listed it for $2. We all laughed. He told us he’d had at least 20 response to the ad, but we were the first that said, “We’re on our way!” So it was ours.
With a bit of clean up we have the perfect range for our new island.
Now that is FLOW!!
Plus we had a great conversation. I gave him one of my books (you can find out more about that here), and it felt like we made a new friend. It was such good energy. I feel blessed by the entire interaction.
We opted to pay the $2 and not pull weeds.

On the way home we stoped in Jacksonville, at a great little restaurant called the C Street Bistro and had a delicious and delightful lunch under an amazing tree shaded patio. We are definitely going back there.

It was a great day.
If this is the beginning of our remodeling process, I am a happy remodeler!
Now onward into demo!
